Difference Between Immigrants

There is a difference between illegal immigrants and legal immigrants, for those that don’t know. Legal immigrants have legal paper to prove that they belong in this country. They have what is called a legal alien resident card also known as a green card. This allows immigrants to work and go to school. It also allows them to go back home and travel, allowing them to come back to the U.S. This is what a lot of people from other countries around the world apply for in order to make it into the U.S. The process in many cases are denied, and in other cases it takes up to ten years for the paper work to go through, which they could still then deny it after waiting.

Illegal immigrants are the immigrants that come to the U.S. without any legal paper stating that they are a resident of the U.S. There are many under the table jobs that hire illegal immigrant because of cheap labor. Many are hired under the minimum wages, which are as low as $4 dollars an hour.
